Get to know the organizations to which you can donate 1.5 percent of your tax

Donating 1.5 percent of your tax can bring joy not only to you, but also to those in need. Join the unique charity campaign “I help because I like it”, which will take place at the Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Centre and the Auchan Port Rumia Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 2nd. The events will start at 12:00 and last until 5:00 p.m.

In the passage of the Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Centre, numerous non-governmental organizations will present their activities, such as Gdyński Most Nadziei Foundation, Pomorska Bracia Mniejsi Foundation, Kotella Foundation, Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Osobom Autystycznym, Wschodzące Słońce Foundation, Grupa Społeczna „aRR”, Lumus Foundation. In turn, at the Rumia Port there will be representatives of the OTOZ Animals Shelter for Homeless Animals in Dąbrówka, the Association for People with Autism “Dla Was” Foundation, “Adapa” Foundation, the Association of Rumian Amazons, the XYZ Foundation, and the Gdynia Amazons Association.

During the event, you will be able to financially support foundations and associations by purchasing auctioned items or handicrafts made by those under your care. There will also be a fair, raffles, and art and sensory classes for children.

During the meeting, there will be a collection of food, blankets and accessories for animals, as well as a presentation of cats for adoption. During the campaign, job offers, internships and training for people with disabilities will be made available. Extensive consultations in the field of psychological, legal, professional and social support will be provided by the Lumus Foundation. In turn, “aRR” social group invites you to participate in activities intended for seniors and the youngest.

There are numerous attractions for children, such as popcorn, cotton candy, face painting and sweets. Additionally, during the campaign at the Auchan Port Rumia Shopping Centre, you will be able to benefit from advice and consultations on cancer prevention, and the youngest will have a unique attraction – a meeting with the Teletubbies, with whom you will be able to take a souvenir photo.

“Pomagam bo lubię” meeting will take place on March 2 at the Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Centre at Szczęśliwa 3 in Gdańsk and at Auchan Port Rumia Shopping Centre at Grunwaldzka 108 in Rumia. You can meet with OPP representatives from 12.00 to 17.00.
