Macrame trees – creative workshops for seniors

Macrame trees will be created by seniors as part of the next classes in „Senior aktywny i kreatywny” series, which we invite you to on May 20th. Participation in the workshops is a great opportunity to spend time with people passionate about creating handicrafts. Admission is free.

Participation in creative workshops can be an interesting idea for seniors to spend the afternoon. This time, participants of „Senior aktywny i kreatywny” classes will create macrame trees, i.e., original wall decorations made of colourful strings. It is worth taking the time for this exciting activity.

Classes can be attended from 12 noon to 5 pm.

Macrame, a cord braiding technique, is very popular in handicrafts and can be used to create a variety of items such as jewellery, wall hangings, rugs, baskets and more. Various knots are used in macrame to create interesting patterns and textures. The effects can surprise the craftsmen themselves!

During our cyclical workshops, participants learn various handicraft techniques and have the opportunity to share their experiences and ideas, learn from each other and develop their skills. Participation in the creative workshops is free, participants receive all the tools needed to make decorations on site, and after the classes they can take their handicrafts home as a souvenir.

Next meeting for seniors next month. On June 10th, participants will create summer earrings.
